On May 1st, according to foreign reports, the Irish Ministry of Health’s bill will prohibit the sale of vapes to children and advertising near schools.

The Independent of Ireland news reported that the proposed legislation of Health Minister Stephen Donnelly was nearing completion and was expected to be published in the coming weeks.

After President Michael D Higgins signed the bill, new legislation is expected to be submitted to the House of Representatives on July 13th.

The Public Health (Tobacco and Nicotine Inhalation Products) Act prohibits the sale of vapes to people under the age of 18.

At present, there is no mandatory age limit for the sales and marketing of vape.

At present, some vape products have packaging that states that vapes are not recommended for use by teenagers under the age of 18.

The bill also prohibits the sale of vapes from self-service vending machines or temporary or mobile locations where retailers do not operate for a long time.

The sale of vape will also be prohibited in places or activities where children are the majority of participants.

The legislation also prohibits vape advertising near public transportation, cinemas, and schools.

Retailers who violate legislation will face suspension periods or fines.

Mr. Donally previously stated that the bill was enacted to protect children and young people from starting to smoke vapes.

We recognize that nicotine is an extremely addictive drug, and we are taking action today to make these products less accessible to our young people, “he said.

A study in 2018 found that the prevalence of vapes among young people is twice that of smoking, as 22% of Irish people aged 12 to 17 have smoked e-cigarettes at least once.

About 9% of young people say they have smoked vapes in the past 30 days.

According to data from the World Health Organization, e-cigarettes have up to 16000 flavors.

JSB vape has a little popularity in Ireland for now. But they are still looking for agent or big wholesaler from Ireland.
